We are counting down the days to our fast approaching Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, September 6th, 2025. We hope you are planning to join us!
Please find attached a copy of our Agenda (see first attachment below) as well as some information on a fundraising raffle we have organized (see second attachment below).
We are very excited to announce that WORA has partnered with Napoleon in Oro-Medonte to raise funds for our organization. Napoleon has graciously donated a grill package worth close to $3,000. to be raffled off.
The grill package will be on display at Napoleon Home Comfort at 24 Napoleon Roadand will also be on display at our AGM on September 6th. Tickets will be on sale at Napoleon Home Comfort store and
will also be available for purchase at the AGM.
Our goal is to sell all of our available tickets. We would like to ask for your help in selling the tickets to ensure we meet our goal of selling out. For those of you who are able to assist us in selling tickets – batches of 10 tickets will be available
for pick up at the Napoleon Home Comfort store starting tomorrow, August 29th, 2025 or at our AGM. We hope we can count on your support.
This is a great opportunity for someone to win a great grill at a minimum cost. All proceeds from ticket sales will greatly support WORA’s efforts in advocating for sustainable development in Oro-Medonte and to advocate for the protection of our dear Lake Simcoe and its environmental sensitivity.
We wish to also encourage everyone to think of questions to ask our elected officials during our conversation with them. Please send any questions you may have for them specifically or in general to us by simply replying to this e-mail.
