Hello WORA Members,
It has been brought to our attention that O-M Council will be considering and probably making a decision on the licensing of STRs in Oro-Medonte at their next Council meeting on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
On your behalf, WORA has consistently supported both the O-M Good Neighbours Alliance (OMGNA) and the Township opposing both the legalizing and licensing of Short Term Rentals in our Township.
We fully support the continuing enforcement of our existing By-law 2020-073 which prohibits STRs in Residential Zones in Oro-Medonte.
It is very important that we all communicate this sentiment to members of our Council so they know where we stand on this important issue prior to the next Council meeting.
