This notice concerns signing a petition to object to Barrie’s annexation plans. Please see the note below.
Signing of the Petition is TODAY – SUNDAY, JANUARY 14th from 11:30 to 1:30 pm at the Old Firehall in Shanty Bay (on Ridge Road beside the baseball diamond).
This is a very important matter and we would appreciate your support to get out and sign the petition.

Subject: A message from Jennica Hang: URGENT- ATTENTION PLEASE
“I want to make you aware that there will be an opportunity to sign the petition TOMORROW (Sunday) from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at the Old Firehall. in Shanty Bay. The petition is to protest against the annexation of Oro-Medonte lands. The Ontario Legislative Assembly only accepts hand signed signatures.
The petition will go to Mayor Greenlaw for the Jan. 16th meeting with the Committee on Heritage Infrastructure and Cultural Policy. (Would you kindly come and sign the petition and bring along family and neighbours?).
